The appellant has been convicted mainly under Section 18 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The appellant was undergoing imprisonment in Nasik Road Central Prison, Nasik. The Superintendent of Nasik Road Central Prison has sent a communication to this Court which is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. In the said communication, it is stated that the appellant expired on 23.1.2015. In this view of the matter, this appeal abates and is disposed of as such.
