On 09/03/2022, the applicants were admitted to the interim protection, in the wake of the allegations that the signatures on the Resolution passed for opening of the bank account in various banks are forged.

The applicants were directed to attend the police station and give their sample signatures so that the investigation could be further carried out.

The learned A.P.P. states that in furtherance of the direction, the applicants have reported to the police station and have co-operated with the investigation.

The learned counsel for the applicants has placed on record a communication from the Government of India addressed to the Investigating Offcer informing that it is a National Institute of Social Defence, who requested all the Target Intervention Agencies, including Kripa Foundation Limited, who opened a separate current account under the scheme of National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR). Apart from this, the supporting document issued by the National Institute of Social Defence granting sanction of installment to Kripa Foundation to conduct Intervention

3/3 18 ABA-559-22.doc programme for Community Based Peer Led Intervention (CPLI) and NAPDDR is also placed on record. The expenditure is shown to be debited to the Social Security and Welfare (Minor Head) of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. It is submitted that all these documents are made available to the Investigating Offcer.

In the light of the aforesaid documents received by the Investigating Offcer, who is present in the Court, he states that the custodial interrogation of the applicants is no more necessary. In the wake of the aforesaid statement, the order dated 09/03/2022 is made absolute, subject to the stipulation that the applicants shall continue to render their co-operation to the Investigating Offcer in whatever manner it is sought for. 5.

In view of the disposal of the application, interim application does not survive and stands disposed off. ( SMT. BHARATI DANGRE, J.)
