This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing the appeal against conviction.

The applicant herein has been convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 363, 366 and 376 of IPC and sentenced to R.I. for seven years and fine of Rs.2,000/- in default R.I. for one year. There is delay of 262 days in filing the appeal.

For the reasons assigned in para No. 4, delay of 262 days needs to be condoned in the interest of justice. Hence, Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). Application stands disposed of. (SMT.SADHANA S.JADHAV, J.)
