The Petitioner has challenged the externment order dated 31.5.2019 passed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-2, Nashik City externing him outside the limits of some portion of Nashik City and from Nashik Rural District for a period of two years.

The record does not show that any stay was granted on the operation of the said order. The externment order was passed on 31.5.2019. The period of externment is already over. Nothing survives in this Petition. Therefore, learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this Petition as it has become infructuous. 3.

Permission is granted. The Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
