After arguing for some time, when this Court was not inclined to grant bail to the Applicant, learned counsel for the Applicant sought leave to withdraw the Application. He, however, requests that since the case is of the year 2016 and the Applicant is languishing in jail since 13.06.2016, the trial of the Applicant be expedited. 2.

Accordingly, the Application is dismissed as withdrawn. However, having regard to the fact that the Applicant is in custody since June, 2016, the trial of the Applicant is expedited. The learned Judge shall make an endeavour to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible and preferably within 12 months from the date of receipt of this order.
