By this writ petition that is filed only against Silent Valley Cooperative Housing Society Limited, a society registered under the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960, the petitioners seek the relief of issuance of share certificates to them. 2.

Since the only relief sought by the petitioners is as stated hereinabove and the co-operative society is the only respondent, we find that the writ petition in its present form would not be maintainable. With liberty to the petitioners to approach the authorities under the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 for seeking appropriate reliefs, the writ petition is disposed of as not maintainable. All points raised are kept open.
