Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, without going into the merits of the matter, we are inclined to dispose of this Petition with liberty to the Petitioner to approach the Collector, Kolhapur for redressal of his grievance for taking action under Section 178 of the Bombay Village Panchayat Act, 1958 against the concerned members of the Grampanchayat and officials.

It is also noted that other various prayers made in the Petition are not pressed by the learned counsel appearing for the Vishal Parekar 1/2
25-pil-48-2015 Petitioner as in that regard the Petition has rendered infructuous. 3.
In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of this Petition with liberty to the Petitioner to submit the representation only in regard to his grievance as stated above before the Collector, Kolhapur. On receipt of such representation, the Collector, Kolhapur shall consider the same and take appropriate decision on it in accordance with law within three months from the date of receipt of such representation. Needless to say that we have not expressed any opinion on the contentions raised in the Petition.

With the aforesaid direction, the Public Interest Litigation stands disposed of.
