Very important issues in relation to "De-notified Criminal Tribes" have been raised in this Petition. Therefore, we issue Rule. The learned AGP waives service for Respondent Nos. 1 to 4. Rule on interim relief is made returnable on 31st March, 2015.

We have perused the earlier orders passed by this Court. The matter was kept pending as the State Government had constituted a Committee with a view to take a policy decision. Even the Petitioner has submitted his suggestions to the Committee constituted by the State Government. Under the order dated 24th July, 2014, this Court directed the State Government to take a policy decision on or before 30th October, 2014. By an order dated 5th November, 2014, the State Government was granted time till 31st January, 2015 to take a policy decision. Today, a Civil Application (St.) No.6031 of 2015 is filed which is not on board. The State Government is seeking extension of time by a period of eight months from 5th November, 2014. Considering the importance and seriousness of the issue, such a longer time cannot be granted.

Therefore, we dispose of the Civil Application by extending the time granted to the State to take a policy decision till 31st March, 2015.
