None for the petitioner. The learned counsel for the respondent has pointed out para 8 of the reply filed by the respondents which reads thus:

"8. Though the Petitioner was not promoted earlier, later on, by an order dated 16.05.2006, he was promoted as a senior clerk. Further, in the very recent past, the Petitioner has been promoted by an order dated 28.02.2017 on a further higher post as Assistant Superintendent with effect from 01.03.2017 and as on today, the Petitioner has been working on the post of the Assistant Superintendent in the Civil Court, Phaltan, District Satara "

2 212.1950.06 wp Keeping in view the aforesaid and the fact that during the pendency of this petition, by way of interim order, the operation of the order impugned in the petition was stayed and the stay continued till date, the petition has rendered infructuous as the petitioner has already been promoted twice.
