1.

Heard. The relief sought in the petition is as under : "[a] this Hon'ble Court may kindly issue a writ of mandamus or an appropriate writ or direction thereby directing the Respondents to transfer the investigation of the FIRs against the present the Petitioner as well as any further FIR against the present Petitioners in relation to the transactions of the Bhaichand Hirachand Raisoni Multistate Credit Society, to an appropriate single investigating agency." 2.

Learned APP having taken instructions from the officer concerned, who is present in the Court makes a statement that 54 FIRs registered against the Petitioners in connection with the offences of cheating, misappropriation and forgery in the transactions of Bhaichand Hirachand Raisoni Multistate Credit Society have been patilsr 1 / 2

transferred to the State CID, Pune. Learned APP placed on record communication and order dated 26th October 2015 issued by the Special Inspector General of Police (Law and Order). The same is taken on record.

3.

In the light of above, the grievance of the Petitioners no more survives. Petition is, therefore, dismissed. 4.

Mr. Nevagi, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners submitted that in connection with the affairs of the said Society, at present more than 80 FIRs are filed against the Petitioners and there is likelihood of filing more FIRs. He submitted that all those FIRs may also be directed to be transferred to the State, CID, Pune. Learned APP does not dispute that all these FIRs are required to be investigated by one agency. We, therefore, grant liberty to the Petitioners to make appropriate application to the Inspector General of Police for transfer of investigation of the FIRs, filed and that may be filed, against the Petitioners in connection with the transactions of Bhaichand Hirachand Raisoni Multistate Credit Society. Inspector General of Police shall take appropriate decision on such applications expeditiously.

5.

Liberty to the parties to apply.
