The above Criminal Application has been filed for quashing of the FIR being No.59 of 2017 registered with Hinjewadi Police Station, Pune City for the offences punishable under Section 20(1) of the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions of Shri R B Unde, Police Inspector, Hinjewadi Police Station, states that the offences under the said Act are non-congnizable in nature and it is through inadvertence that the FIR has been registered. In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the above Criminal Application would have to be allowed lgc
