Learned Counsel for the Applicant has sought return of passport, which was deposited before the Investigating Officer as directed in order dated 12 May 2017 in Anticipatory Bail Application No.849 of 2017. Learned Counsel for the Applicant states that chargesheet has been filed and the passport, which was deposited before the Investigating Officer, has expired and needs to be renewed and that the Applicant is a businessman and has to travel abroad in connection with his business.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, the passport, which was surrendered before the Investigating Officer, is ordered to be returned to the Applicant so as to enable him to renew the said passport. 3.

The statement of the Applicant that he shall not travel abroad without prior permission of the Court is accepted as an undertaking to the Court.
