The Petitioners have moved the present Petition to direct Respondent No.2 for processing his proposals for grant of financial assistance under the Atal Financial Assistance Scheme which was in operation during the year 2018-19.

It appears that the Petitioners were not granted the benefit for some reasons and according to the Reply filed by Respondent No.3 it is stated katkam 1/2

k 2/2 2 wp 87.21 as.doc that the case of the Petitioner would be considered only after the approval is granted for extension of the scheme by the Government. It is now stated that the Government has issued Government Resolution dated 31 March 2023 whereby the applicability of the Scheme has been extended for a further period of one year and shall remain in operation for the financial year 2023-24. In that view of the matter, the learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No.3 states that the case of the Petitioner would be considered in accordance with the Government Resolution and the decision would be taken at the earliest.

Be that as it may, the Petition is disposed of on this assurance. The decision be taken not later than four months from today. SANDEEP V. MARNE, J.
