The report submitted by the Assistant Commissioner of Ward Committee No.5 of today's date has been taken on record in Writ Petition No.3058 of 2018. The report records that from 5th March, 2018 onwards the present petitioner has not taken recourse to Grievance Redressal Mechanism provided by the Municipal Corporation. It records that a direction has been issued to an Inspector to make the site visit. We accept the statements made in the said report which has been taken on record and marked for identification as 'R-1' in Writ Petition No.3058 of 2018.

wp-3061.18.odt In view of what is stated in the report, we need not keep the Petition pending and we dispose of the Petition by granting liberty to the petitioner to make a complaint by taking recourse to the Grievance Redressal Mechanism set up by the first respondent - Municipal Corporation.

If within the reasonable time from the date of lodging the complaint, the first respondent fails to initiate any action, it will be open for the petitioner to file a fresh Petition for seeking appropriate reliefs.
