This application is moved for modification of the condition which is imposed by orders dated 12.1.2017 and 25.10.2016 in respect of furnishing one or two local sureties of Rs.1 lakh. 2.

The learned Counsel for the applicant/accused submits that the applicant/accused is a resident of Gujarat and therefore, it is not possible for him to furnish local surety. 3.

Learned Prosecutor opposes the application. He submits that the offence is of cheating against the bank of Rs.78 lakhs.

In view of the submissions from both sides, the surety amount of Rs.1 lakh is maintained. However, instead of one or two local sureties, it is hereby directed that the applicant/accused shall furnish one local surety of Rs.50,000/- and one surety from his native place, where he permanently resides.

Thus, the application is partly allowed and disposed of accordingly.
