The above Writ Petition has been filed for quashing and setting aside of the proceedings being PCR/4/2011 which has been registered with Andheri Police Station, Mumbai. The FIR in question was registered under Sections 66(1)(B) 2, 68 and 83 of the Bombay Prohition Act on 18/02/2011. The quashing of the proceedings is sought inter alia on the grounds mentioned in the above Writ Petition.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor Shri V B KondeDeshmukh draws our attention to the order dated 20/01/2018 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Railway Mobile Court, Andheri, Mumbai, by which order the accused have been discharged principally on the ground that since the offences punishable with imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year and since the charge sheet was not filed within the stipulated period. lgc

(904) wp-671.11 In view of the said order dated 20/01/2018 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Railway Mobile Court, Andheri, Mumbai the cause for filing of the above Writ Petition does not survive. The above Writ Petition to accordingly stand disposed of. The order dated 20/01/2018 is taken on record and marked "X" for identification.
