By this Petition, the challenge is to the order dated 3rd October, 2022 granting maintenance of Rs. 7,000/- to the Respondent towards the interim maintenance of the child from the date of Application. 3.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Respondent wife is also earning and that the Application has been made to harass the Petitioner. He also submits that he is ready and willing to take responsibility of the child.

None of the submissions would justify a challenge to the grant of 1/2

20-WP-3489-2023.doc maintenance of Rs. 7,000/- to the child. The maintenance has been granted to the child and not to the Respondent and as such, whatever grievance is the Petitioner has against his wife is required to addressed in proper proceedings.

The Trial Court while granting interim maintenance of Rs. 7,000/- has considered that the gross salary of the Petitioner was Rs. 59771/- and net salary was Rs. 53,514/-. Relying upon the IT returns filed on the record, the Trial Court has held that the Petitioner is in sound economic position.

Considering the findings of the order of the Trial Court, there is no need to interfere with the order. Petition stands dismissed. (SHARMILA U. DESHMUKH, J. ) 2/2
