Record clearly indicates that when the Petitioner was released on furlough leave in the year 2012, he did not return to Jail Authority within stipulated period and was reported to be absconding. He was subsequently arrested by Police on 6th December 2018 and brought to jail with 6,858 days delay. This is the precise reason for which his application for furlough leave has been rejected by the Competent Authority by its order dated 6th May 2020, which is upheld by Appellate Authority by impugned order dated 2nd October 2020.

We find that there is no error while passing both the impugned Orders by the concerned Authorities.

Petition is accordingly dismissed.
