By this Application, the Applicant has sought to condone the delay of 18 days in filing the Appeal under section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act.

Learned counsel for the Applicant states that the challenge is only to the quantum of compensation. Hence, notice to Respondent No.3 (insured) is dispensed with. Respondent Nos.1 and 2 have not contested the Application despite due service. Having perused the explanation given the Application, the delay of 18 days is condoned. Appeal is ordered to be registered after removal of office objections, if any. 3.
Civil Application stands disposed of.
