The grievance of the Petitioners is that a proposal dated 27th September, 2012 in regard to the tenure of land bearing survey No. 9 at Kase-Ashta, Tal. Walwa, Dist. Sangli has been forwarded by the Collector, Sangli to the State Government but till date Respondent No. 1- State Government has neither heard the matter nor took any decision on the said pending proposal dated 27th September, 2012 (Exhibit G Colly.).

A prayer has been made by learned counsel for the Petitioners to dispose of this Petition by directing Respondent No. 1 Vishal Parekar 1/2

908-wp-3468-2016 to consider and take appropriate decision on the said proposal sent by the Collector, Sangli (Exhibit G) as expeditiously as possible after giving opportunity of hearing to the Petitioners. 4.

Learned AGP submits that on the said proposal, decision shall be taken by Respondent No. 1 as expeditiously as possible. 5.

In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of this Petition by directing Respondent No. 1/Competent Authority to consider and decide the proposal dated 27th September, 2012 (Exhibit G Colly.) in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible but not later than three months from the date of appearance of the Petitioners before the said authority.

The Petitioner to appear before Respondent No. 1/ Competent Authority on 15th November, 2016 at 3.00 p.m. 7.

The Petition stands disposed of as such.
