1] On expressing my disinclination to entertain the Interim Application seeking suspension of sentence and secure release of the Applicant on bail upon his conviction by the Special Court, the learned counsel Mr. Lalla state that he shall not press the Interim Application, providing hearing of the Appeal is expedited. While making such request, the submission is that, the Appellant is presently 73 years old and has undergone 4 years of imprisonment since 2019.

2] I find justification in the submission of the learned counsel Mr. Lalla.

The above-said exercise to be expeditiously concluded on or before 31.10.2023.
