By this petition, the petitioner is challenging the resolution No.38 dated 2nd October, 2015 passed by the respondent No.1Grampanchayat. By the said resolution, the Grampanchayat constituted Joint Forest Administration Committee. The said committee is constituted in pursuance of the Government Resolution dated 5th October, 2011.

The petitioner is challenging the said resolution on the ground that he was the chairman of the earlier committe which was constituted in the year 2011 and the new committee was constituted before the expiry of the term of the earlier committee. Shubhada S Kadam 1/2

We are not inclined to entertain this objection, inasmuch as even assuming that the petitioner was appointed as a chairman of the earlier committee in the year 2011, as of today, the term of the previous committee has already expired. Though the petition is filed in January2016, the petitioner has not taken any steps and, therefore, the petition is rendered infructuous. Otherwise also, we are not inclined to entertain the same.
