Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

Mr. Suryawanshi, the learned Counsel for the applicant, on instructions, submits that the trial has reached an advanced stage and Investigating Officer is being examined.

In view of the aforesaid statement and having regard to the fact that the trial has reached an advanced stage as only the Investigating Officers are to be examined by the 1/2

17-BA651-2023+.DOC prosecution, there is a likelihood that the trial may conclude within a reasonable period.

Nonetheless having regard to the fact that the applicants are in custody since May, 2016, the learned Additional Sessions Judge seized with Session Case No.278 of 2016 arising out of CR No.97 of 2016 is requested to give priority to the said Session Case and conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible.

Applications stand disposed.
