Heard Mr.Nikhil Mengde, learned Counsel for the applicant, Mr. Indrajeet Kulkarni, learned Counsel for respondent No.1 and Mr.P.P. Pujari, learned A.GP. for respondent No.2-State.

Writ Petition No.8669/2017 was disposed of in terms of the consent terms dated 31.8.2017 signed by the parties as also their Advocates and is kept for compliance.

Mr. Mengde has tendered an additional affidavit of the applicant dad 6.8.2018 along with photo-copy of the fixed deposit receipts in the sum of Rs.17,50,000/-, which is taken on record and marked 'A collectively' for identification.

Mr. Mengde states that the applicant-wife is present in the Court today. He has tendered a photocopy of her PAN card as also Aadhaar card, which are taken on record and marked 'B collectively' for identification. Mr. Kulknari states that the respondent-husband is also present in the Court today. He has tendered a photo-copy of his PAN card, which is taken on record and marked 'C' for identification.

Mr. Mengde submitted that the amount of Rs.17,50,000/- is invested with Central Bank of India, Nehru Nagar Branch, Kurla (East), Mumbai. He submitted that the fixed deposits are maturing on 20.4.2021. He submitted that the fixed deposits may be renewed till such time daughter Vedika attains majority. He submitted that the fixed deposit may be renewed till 11.10.2024. Mr. Kulkarni has no objection for the same.

In view thereof, the fixed deposits shall be renewed till 11.10.2024. The interest accrued on the fixed deposit shall be utilized by the applicant-wife for the welfare of the minor child Vedika. Civil Application is disposed of accordingly.
