By this petitioner, the petitioner is challenging an order passed by the respondent no.2 under Section 56(1)(b) of the Bombay Police Act. The learned Counsel does not dispute that the order impugned in this petition is appealable under Section 60 of Bombay Police Act. In that view of the matter we are not inclined to interfere with the petition. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order by filing an appeal before the appropriate Appellate Authority. pps

In the event the appeal is filed within one week from today, the Appellate Authority shall endeavor to dispose of the same as early as possible, and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of filing of the appeal.
