Mr. Kulkarni, learned Senior Counsel for the Petitioners on instructions submitted that, admittedly in the present case, Police have submitted charge-sheet after completing of investigation and the said case has now been committed to the Court of Sessions being Sessions Case No.287 of 2023.

In view thereof, the Petitioners are having alternate remedy by way of filing of an Application under Section 227 of Cr.P.C. for discharge and without availing such a remedy, Petitioners have directly approached this Court by invoking jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
