On 25th September, 2020, after recording prima facie observations, an interim relief was granted in favour of the applicant. He was, however, directed to attend the concerned police station twice in a week and co-operate with the investigation. The learned APP state that in furtherance of the order, the applicant has attended the police station. The investigation is complete and the charge-sheet is now ready for filing.

In light of the aforesaid statement, since prima facie it was observed in the order that there was a relationship of friendship between the applicant and the prosecutrix, the said order calls for a confirmation subject to the same stipulations with only modification that the applicant will attend the police station as and when called for.
