The appeal preferred by the petitioners challenging the order of interim maintenance is pending before the Sessions Court which is numbered as Criminal Appeal No.140 of 2021. 2.

Learned Advocate for the petitioners submit that the appeal pending before the Sessions Court be directed to be decided expeditiously and the impugned proceedings before the Court of learned Magistrate initiated by the Respondent under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act be directed to be concluded expeditiously.

The proceedings under the Domestic Violence Act are pending before the concerned Court since 2019 whereas the appeal preferred by the petitioners is pending since 2021. The next date Sunny Thote

Considering the aforesaid circumstances, I pass the following order.

ORDER

i.

Criminal Writ Petition No.741 of 2022 disposed of. ii.

The appeal preferred by the petitioner viz Criminal Appeal No.140 of 2021 shall be disposed of by the Sessions Court within a period of one month from date of receipt of order.

iii.

The proceedings before the trial Court under the Domestic Violence Act shall be expeditiously decided within one month from the date of receipt of the order. (PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.) Sunny Thote
