1) This is an application received though Jail. The applicant has prayed that the amount of bail and surety bond be reduced .

2) By an order dated 5.5.2015 the applicant was directed to be released on bail on his furnishing PR bond of Rs.50,000/- with two local sureties in the like amount. The applicant has stated that he is unable to comply with the said condition and therefore, prayed that the said amount be reduced .

3) The learned APP on instructions submitted that the applicant has not complied with the said condition and is still in Jail. She further submitted that the trial of the said case has already began and one witness has been examined.

2 /2APPP-182-16-910 4) The record reveals that the applicant was directed to be released on bail by an order dated 5.5.2015 and despite the said order he is still languishing in Jail as he is unable to comply with he said condition. In view thereof, the condition No.1 imposed upon the applicant by order dated 5.5.2015 is hereby modified and the applicant is permitted to furnish PR bond of Rs.25,000/- with two local sureties in the like amount.

5) The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. 6) The registry is hereby directed to communicate this order to the applicant who is detained in Mumbai Central Prison.
