Clarifying that since there is no FIR registered, arraigning the applicant as an accused, the observations made by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Thane in the order dated 17/02/2022 touching the merits of the matter, will not deter the Court from considering an application for protection filed by the applicant, in case an offence is registered. In the wake of the aforesaid, the apprehension expressed by the applicant that he is likely to be arrested, in absence of registration of the offence, cannot be sustained. 2.

The application stands disposed off.
