By this Application through jail, the Applicants seeks expeditious disposal of his case, being S.C.No.NDPS 83/13 which is pending before the learned Special Judge.

Learned APP on the instructions states that five witnesses have been examined till date and two more witnesses are to be examined. She submits that the date given in the trial Court, is after every 15 days. Considering the fact
APPLN 135-16.doc that five witnesses have been examined and two witnesses are to be examined, no directions are required. It is expected that the learned Judge will dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, as only two witnesses are to be examined. The investigating officer to ensure that the Applicant is produced on every date before the trial Court so as to enable the Court to proceed with the case without adjourning the matter.

Accordingly, the Application is disposed of. A copy of the said order be communicated to the learned Judge before whom the Sessions Case is pending, as well as to the Applicant, who is lodged in Arthur Road Prison, Mumbai.
