By a reasoned Order dated 28.2.2018, the applicant in ABA No.377/2018 was granted interim relief and directed to attend the Investigating Officer on stipulated dates to join the process of investigation. By a subsequent Order dated 4.4.2018, the applicant in ABA No.515/2018 was granted interim relief by this Court. - Page-1/2

It is a fact on record that, the first informant has taken hand loan from the applicants .Likewise Smt. Radha Desai has taken hand loan from the applicant Ravindra Kesare. The allegations against the applicants is that despite making payment of substantial interest on the principal amount, the applicants are still insisting to pay further interest along with the principal amount. In the premise, an offence under Section 384 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 39 and 45 of the Maharashtra Money Laundering Money Lending Act, 2014 is lodged against the applicant. 3.
The record indicates that, in pursuance of the orders passed by this Court the applicants have attended the Investigating Officer and have joined the process of investigation. The first informant in her statement has admitted that she is liable to pay the principal amount of hand loan taken by her from the applicants.

In view of the above the interim relief granted by Orders dated 28.8.2018 and 4.4.2018 respectively is hereby confirmed. However, the condition to attend the Investigating Officer is hereby waived. Applications are allowed in the aforesaid terms. (A.S.GADKARI, J.) - Page-2/2
