Other two petitions in the group, viz. Writ Petition Nos. 297/2015 and 381/2015 are de-tagged from this petition. Place these two petitions on 22nd August, 2016 on admission board. 2.

The Petitioner has challenged the validity of the Mines and Minerals (Development & Regulation) Amendment Ordinance 2015, dated 12nd January, 2015. During pendency of the petition, the ordinance has been converted into an Act, and the President's assent 1 / 2

WP. 5326-15 also has been granted. In view of this, the Petitioner has to challenge vires of the said Act. Writ Petition No. 5326 of 2015 in that sense has become infructuous, and is accordingly disposed of as such, reserving the right of the Petitioner to challenge the constitutional validity of the said Act.
