Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the respondent State.
The applicant has been convicted by the learned trial Magistrate for the offence punishable u/s 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. His bail application has been dismissed, therefore, the present revision application. In the present bail application, the applicant prays 1/2
910)APPR96.15 for bail as he claims to have a good case for arguments in revision.
After hearing the learned counsel for the applicant, I pass the following order:
The applicant be released on bail in the sum of Rs.5,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount or cash deposit of Rs.5,000/- in lieu of surety.
The applicant shall deposit Rs.2 lakhs in the trial Court within a period of two weeks from today. If the said amount is not deposited within the time granted by the Court, the bail order shall stand vacated automatically and the learned trial Magistrate shall be at liberty to take necessary steps to get the applicant arrested.
The application stands disposed of.
