2] The petitioner has filed this PIL seeking the following directions: "(A) This Hon'ble Court may direct the Resp. 1 to file a detailed report on the number of illegal constructions that are ongoing in the jurisdiction of his Commissionerate as on today; (B) This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct the Resp. 1 to take appropriate steps to demolish such illegal structures forthwith;

(C) This Hon'ble Court may direct the Resp. 1 to register criminal cases against the municipal officials, real-estate developers and local politicians who are operating in connivance to build such illegal structures;

skc 46-CRPILL-9-16.doc (D) This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct the Resp. 2 to take necessary steps to form a special force to tackle such spate of illegal structures being built on day-to-day basis in the region of the corporation;

(E) Any other such relief as may be found appropriate by this Hon'ble Court in the interest of justice;"

3] These reliefs cannot be granted by exercising our writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. This PIL is therefore dismissed.
