The petition is filed for transfer of investigation of the FIR No.55 of 2017 from the Investigating Officer of Mangalwedha Police Station to any other police station or independent agency. 2.
Mr. Choudhari, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the subject incident is of 8th February, 2017, and FIR in respect of the same is registered on 11th February, 2017. However, there is no substantial progress in the investigation.

Mr. Yagnik, learned APP, on instructions of the officer concerned, makes a statement that initially the investigation of the subject FIR was carried by an officer who is suspended in other incident Shubhada S Kadam 1/2
29 wp 911 of 2017.doc and, at present, SPI-Mangalwedha Police Station is carrying out the investigation of the subject FIR. The learned APP assures this Court that the investigation of the subject FIR will be carried impartially and expeditiously and an appropriate report would be filed before the concerned Court.

In the light of the above, we do not find it necessary to transfer the investigation of the subject FIR to any other police station or independent agency. We deem it convenient to dispose of the petition by directing the DY.S.P. Mangalwedha Sub-Division to supervise the investigation of the subject FIR. Ordered accordingly. 5.
The writ petition stands disposed off.
