P.C:- The breach alleged is of the order dated 1st March, 2019 passed in Writ Petition No.14562 of 2018. The learned AGP has tendered by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Special Branch, Mumbai City. The said certificate is in terms of the order dated 17th January, 2019. The Petitioner pointed out that in the certificate issued by the Police of verification of character and antecedents, her father's name is not mentioned. The learned AGP, on instructions states that in fact, the Petitioner was called upon to disclose the name which she would like to be printed on the certificate of verification issued by the Police. Petitioner in response stated that she wants her short name as Ansari Nuzhat Jahan to be printed on the certificate. On instructions, the learned AGP states that if the Petitioner wants her father's name to appear in her name on the clearance certificate, she can make an application in that behalf and the needful will be done by the Police. We accept the statement. Though belatedly, the Police Clearance Certificate dated 25th March, 2019 has been issued to the Petitioner. It cannot be said that there is any deliberate breach committed by the 1st and 3rd Respondent. Hence, by accepting the aforesaid statement, the Contempt Petition is disposed of.
