Learned Advocate for the applicants submit that the Respondent No.2 has initiated the proceedings under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, before the Court of J.M.F.C., Cantonment Court at Pune vide Application No.219 of 2012. The applicants are arraigned as Respondents in the said proceedings. The applicant No.1 is the husband of Respondent No.2 and applicant No.2 is the mother-in-law.

It is submitted that the applicant No.1 is working in police department. The proceedings under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act are pending since 2012. There is no progress in the proceedings. The evidence of the Respondent No.2 is not yet adduced. Hence hearing of the proceedings may be expedited.

Considering the fact that the proceedings under the Domestic Violence Act, are pending since 2012, the hearing of the said proceedings can be expedited.

ORDER

i.

Learned J.M.F.C., Cantonment Court at Pune is requested to decide the proceedings in C.C. No.219 of 2012 initiated by Respondent No.2 under the provisions of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, expeditiously, and make endeavour to conclude the proceedings within a period of nine months from the receipt of this order.
