P.C.:- 1) Petitioners i.e. husband and mother-in-law of Respondent No.2 have filed present Petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India for quashing of C.R. No. 0216 of 2021 dated 27th September, 2021 registered with Chithalsar-Manpada Police Station, Thane under Sections 323, 341, 498A, 406, and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, with consent of Respondent No.2.
2) Learned Advocate for the Respondent No.2 tendered across the bar Consent Terms dated 14th July, 2023. The said Consent Terms are duly signed by the Petitioners and Respondent No.2. Their signatures have been identified by their respective Advocates.

ssm 2 1-wp929.22.doc 2.1 To the said Consent Terms dated 14th July, 2023, an Affidavit of Respondent No.2 dated 27th June, 2023 duly affirmed before a Notary Public is annexed as Annexure-A2. In the said Affidavit, the Respondent No.2 has stated that, she has settled the matter with the Petitioner No.1 and she has no objection for quashing of present crime. 2.2 Respondent No.2 is personally present in the Court and through her Advocate reiterates the contents of her Affidavit dated 27st June, 2023 and her 'no objection' for quashing of the crime in question. 3) In view of the above, Petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause (B).
4) Needless to mention that, the parties herein shall adhere to the terms, conditions and covenants mentioned in the Consent Terms dated 14th July, 2023, without any demur.
