The petitioners have questioned the delimitation and reservation of seats in Morochi Gram Panchayat, Taluka Malshiras, District - Solapur and at Exhibit-H, collectively are the copies of the notifications of delimitation of ward. The learned counsel appearing for the State Election Commission, on instructions, submits that the State Commission has gone into the available record in respect of the delimitation application, bifurcation and reservation of the seat of the Gram

The learned counsel for the State Election Commission makes a statement that it has been decided by the State Election Commission to withdraw the impugned notifications. The State Election Commission would undertake a fresh exercise of delimitation and reservation of the ward. On the statement made by the learned counsel appearing for the State Election Commission, we grant liberty to the State Election Commission to take appropriate steps.
