The cause for filing the above Contempt Petition is the noncompliance of the order dated 14.10.2013 passed by a Learned Single of this Court, by which order the Respondent No.1 i.e. the Appellate Authority was directed to hear and decide the Appeal No.3847 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible and within a period of three months from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order. The said three months period has came to an end on 13.01.2014. However, as yet the Appeal has not been decided. In the meantime, the new Government has assumed office and consequently the Appellate Authority has also changed. The Learned BGP.

CP-145-14.doc 30.04.2015 AGP on instructions states that the Appeal in question would be placed for hearing on 13.05.2015 at 3.00 p.m. The Appellate Authority to hear and decide the said Appeal latest by 30.06.2015 by giving proper opportunity to the parties. In view of the aforesaid directions the Learned Counsel for the Petitioners does not wish to proceed with the Contempt Petition. The Contempt Petition to accordingly stand disposed of. [R.M.
