The Learned Counsel for the Respondent No.1 states that the elections to the APMC, Manmad are already over. The said fact is not disputed by the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner. The Petitioner challenges the acceptance of the nomination of the Respondent No.1. Since the elections are already over, the above Petition has turned infructuous and is accordingly disposed of as such. However, it would be open for the Petitioner to adopt appropriate proceedings challenging the election of the Respondent No.1 if so advised. [R.M. SAVANT, J] BGP.
