This petition is filed by the Public Information Officer, Deputy Registrar, High Court, Bombay to challenge the order dated 1.2.2018 passed by the Appellate Authority under Right to Information Act 2005 directing the petitioner to provide information to the respondent No. 1 herein. 2.

On previous occasion, we have requested the learned counsel for the petitioner to place before us the information to the extent it is available and directed to be provided by

the Appellate Authority to the petitioner. The learned counsel has accordingly placed before us in form of a letter dated 16.7.2019 written by the Prothonotory and Senior Master, High Court, Bombay which is addressed to the Registrar, Legal & Research, High Court, Appellate Side, Mumbai. This letter contains full details of the information available with the petitioner which the respondent had asked for and the Appellate Authority under the RTI Act had to provide him.

The respondent is present in person. He clarified that the details of the residential addresses of the staff members which he had asked for, have not even been directed by the Appellate Authority for being supplied. In addition to recording such statement even otherwise, we do not find that such details can be provided to the third party whose personal details are under consideration without notice to such third party.

In facts of the present case, in our opinion, the entire issue can be put to an end by providing the available

information to the respondent herein which is placed before us in the form of said letter dated 16.7.2019. We request the learned counsel, therefore, to supply copy of this letter to the respondent. This would be sufficient compliance with the order of the Appellate Authority. In that view of the matter, we have kept the larger issues raised in the petition open to be examined at an appropriate case.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
