This is an application for anticipatory bail in connection with CR No.0118 of 2020 registered with MIDC Police Station, Solapur for ofences under sections 384, 323, 504, 506 read with 34 of the IPC.

The complainant has alleged that the applicant and other accused had threatened him and extorted the amount. The prosecution case is that the complainant had deposited the amount in the account of the applicant maintained in Axis Bank. 3.

The contention of the applicant is that there was transaction relating to delivery of milk and on that account the payment was made. It was deposited into the account of the

Nitin 2/2 9-ABA-2020.doc applicant. It is submitted that the co-accused were arrested and granted bail.

Learned PP strongly opposed the application for anticipatory bail. It is submitted that the FIR was registered on 24th February, 2020 and the applicant's bail application was rejected the Sessions Court on 23rd March, 2020. The applicant was not available for investigation.

Considering the allegations made in the FIR, the reasons assigned by the learned Sessions Judge and the nature of the allegation of extortion made against the applicant, no case is made out for anticipatory bail and thus the application is rejected.
