1] In view of the parameters and guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court in the case of Shalini S. Shetty Vs. Rajendra S. Patil reported in 2010

(8) SCC 329, the learned Counsel for the petitioner on instructions seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to adopt appropriate legal proceedings, if so advised. Leave and liberty granted. 2] The petition is disposed off as withdrawn.

3] At this stage, the learned Counsel for the petitioner prayed that the ad-interim relief granted by order dated 22.3.2016 may be continued for a period of four weeks with a view to enable his client to adopt alternate remedy as stated hereinabove. The respondent No.2 who appears in person has vehemently opposed the said prayer. However, in the interest of justice, ad-interim relief shall remain in force for a period four weeks from today.
