The present interim application is taken out for early hearing of the appeal, which assail the judgment and order dated 22nd August, 2016 whereby the appellant is convicted under Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 ("the POCSO Act").

Considering the urgency expressed in the application and since the R & P is received and the learned counsel for the appellant is ready to furnish a private paper-book, list the appeal for fnal hearing on 20th April, 2021 at 2.30 p.m. 3.
