Heard the learned Advocate appearing for the applicant. He argued that the applicant is the father of the deceased and, therefore, he wants to intervene in the Criminal Appeal and, therefore, he may be added as respondent No.2 in the appeal.

(31)APPANo.3312018 The learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed the application by contending that the applicant can at the most pray for assisting the prosecution and he cannot be directed to be made as party respondent in the appeal challenging conviction recorded in the said case.

Considering the fact that the applicant is father of the victim, the application is disposed of with permission to the applicant to assist the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing in the matter.

The application is disposed of accordingly.
