The Applicant is seeking regular bail in Crime No. 36 of 2018 for an offence punishable under Sections 376, 341, 506 of Indian Penal Code. The Applicant is arrested on 11th February 2018. The investigation in the matter is already completed. There are no criminal antecedents against the Applicant.

The prosecution case against the Applicant is, the Applicant spotted the victim in isolation and committed rape at an abandoned crusher site.

The learned APP submits that there is sufficient material to infer prima facie involvement of the Applicant in the crime in question. The F.I.R. was lodged at belated stage for which no convincing reason is coming forward. No injury is noticed on the body of the complainant, particularly in the backdrop of the scene of offence. 4.
In the aforesaid backdrop, in my opinion, a case for grant of bail is made out. Hence, the following order.
ORDER
(A) The Applicant be released on bail in Crime No. 36 of 2018 for an offence punishable under Sections 376, 341, 506 of Indian Penal Code on executing PR Bond of Rs.25,000/- with one nor more sureties in the like amount.
(B) The Applicant shall neither tamper the evidence of prosecution nor influence the prosecution witnesses.
