Heard. In the present proceedings, this court, by order dated 08.08.2016 issued notice to the respondent and directed the petitioner to clear the arrears of interim maintenance charges by 31.08.2016.

On 31.08.2016, at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, 4 weeks' time was granted to clear the arrears of maintenance. Again on 04.05.2017 at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, time was granted to comply with order dated 08.08.2016 i.e. to clear the maintenance charges. In spite of that, today, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks further two months' time to clear the maintenance charges. Basavraj G Patil 1/2

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the order dated 04.05.2017, following order is passed:

a.

Two months' time is granted to the petitioner to clear the maintenance charges upto August 2017, failing which the Writ Petition shall stand dismissed without further reference to the court. b.

For extension of time to comply with order dated 08.08.2016, the petitioner has to pay cost of Rs.20,000/- to respondent No.1 within two weeks from today, failing which the Writ Petition shall stand dismissed without further reference to the court.

c.

If amount of maintenance charges are deposited within stipulated time as stated hereinabove, cost amount to be treated/adjusted in payment of maintenance charges for further period.
