Mr.Havnur learned counsel appearing for the petitioners in these petitions seeks liberty to withdraw these petitions with liberty to file
3/3 appeal under section 35(1A) of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance And Redevelopment) Act, 1971 within four weeks from today and undertakes to serve the papers and proceedings in such appeal on the other contesting respondents simultaneously. Statement is accepted. It is made clear that no further extension would be granted.

Ad-interim protection granted by this court on 18th March,2016 to continue for a period of 6 weeks from today. If any application for continuation of the ad-interim order is made by the petitioners before the appellate authority, the same shall be considered on its own merits without being influenced by the fact that ad-interim relief was granted by this court.

The appeals shall be disposed of by the appellate authority expeditiously and not later than six months from the date of first hearing.

Writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed with the aforesaid directions. No order as to costs. [R.D. DHANUKA, J.]
